WATCH: How to Make Kimchi Fried Rice

 

Add a spicy and delicious Korean-inspired kick to fried rice by adding some kimchi.


1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 slices bacon, chopped
¾ cup kimchi, chopped
3 cups cooked rice
1 tablespoon kimchi juice (optional for heat)
salt and pepper, to taste
nori strips, for garnish

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok. Cook the bacon until brown.

Add kimchi and saute for a few minutes.

Add cooked rice and toss to combine.

Season with kimchi juice, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.

Top with nori strips.
