This Filipino pork recipe is a one-pot wonder during busy weekdays. You may also add sliced cooked hotdog to this Pinoy dish!

 
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pieces large onion, chopped
1/2 kilo pork, cut into cubes
2 medium potatoes, cubed
1 big carrot, cubed
1 pack (200 grams) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup water
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup water
 
 
1 Heat the cooking oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and onions until browned.
 
2 Add the pork and sauté until the pork is browned on all sides.
 
3 Pour the pork broth, water, and tomato sauce. Stir and simmer until the pork is tender (around 30 to 40 minutes).
 
4 Add the potatoes, hotdogs, and carrots and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
 
5 Add the bell peppers and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
