WATCH: 5 Ways To Use Cheese In Recipes

Are you Team Cheddar or Team Mozzarella?

Cheddar, mozzarella, queso de bola, Parmesan, gouda, and quick-melting cheese. These are just some of the many kinds of cheese that many of us love to eat and use in our dishes.

Whichever kind of cheese you like, you can learn to use it in your recipes to create creamy, delicious, and irresistible dishes such as cheesy kaldereta, cheesy mac and cheese recipes, gooey cheese dips with fried chicken, or baked cheese dips for toasted bread

1 Melt it in.

Melty cheese is fantastic tossed with freshly cooked pasta. However, not all cheese melts! If you need a quick-melting cheese for your recipe, try using cheese spread for a no-fuss melting cooking experience. You can even melt different kinds of cheese into a dip for corn chips (nachos) or saucy fried chicken chunks.

2 Make a cheesy topping.

You probably do this already, but grating cheese to make a stretchy, gooey cheese layer on top of lasagna, baked mac, and other baked pasta creates an irresistible meal that you can't turn down. Not baking the pasta? Just grate and sprinkle it on top of spaghetti for a classic pasta meal.

3 Bread then fry it.

Mozzarella sticks is a classic breaded cheese recipe! Coat frozen mozzarella sticks in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs for a crunchy outer layer. You can also roll quick-melting cheese sticks in lumpia or spring roll wrappers for a gooey instead of a stretchy snack. Just remember to freeze the sticks before frying to prevent them from popping out!

4 Stuff it in!

It's satisfying to bite into bread just to encounter a chunk of cheese. Amp up bread recipes by cutting cheese into cubes and stuff these melty, gooey cheese into puto, pandesal, and other baked recipes. You can slice and pile it on between bread slices for the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich, or grate and stir it into batters and dough, too, in cheesy ensaymada and cheese-stuffed bread rolls!

5 Make a cheese board.

There's no need to cook it at all. Eat it as is! Choose your favorite cheese to eat in its sliced form, and arrange it on a clean chopping board with dried fruits and cured ham. Place it on the table when dinner is over to share with friends and family for an indulgent me-time.
