Green smoothies don't have to taste like undressed salad leaves! Here are easy tips on how to make your kale, spinach, or malunggay smoothies fruity, healthy, and downright dreamy.

 

 

1 Always use ripe fruits

Choose fruits that are on the sweeter side: bananas, mangoes, peaches, and pineapples make any green smoothie delicious.

 

2 Mask it with matcha

Matcha powder is packed with antioxidants and flavor. Add a tablespoon or two to your smoothie and blend it into a deep green treat.

 

3 Water it down with tasty liquids

Almond milk, fresh orange juice, coconut water, and kombucha all easily add flavor to your smoothie!

 

4 Wash your greens

This one is a no-brainer! Dark leafy greens, like romaine lettuce and kale, often have dirt snuggled in between their stems and leaves. Wash them well to avoid a sandy smoothie.
