WATCH: Three New Ways to Serve Salpicao

If you’re a big fan of garlic, it’s very likely that salpicao is one of your favorite viands. Did you know that there are three creative ways to whip up this garlicky dish?

While different from one another, these recipes have more than just one key ingredient in common. Aside from garlic, Knorr Liquid Seasoning gives these salpicao variations a savory boost with a hint of sweetness.

Beef Salpicao Soft Taco

Serves 3

 

500 grams beef sirloin, cubed

6 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons oil

1/4 cup Knorr Liquid Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/8 cup cilantro, finely chopped

1/8 cup fried garlic bits

12 pieces small tortilla wraps

 

1 Marinate beef sirloin in Knorr Liquid Seasoning, soy sauce, and garlic. Set aside for 30 minutes.

2 Pour oil into a nonstick pan. Saute marinated beef sirloin.

3 Place on top of tortilla wraps to make open-faced tacos.

4 Add salt and pepper.

5 Top with fried garlic bits and cilantro.

6 Serve with lemon wedges and yogurt sauce.

 

 

Chili Chicken Garlic Salpicao

Serves 3

 

500 grams chicken breast, cubed

6 cloves garlic

3 tablespoons chili oil

2 tablespoons oil

150 grams mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cup Knorr Liquid Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

 

1 Marinate chicken breast in Knorr Liquid Seasoning, soy sauce, chili oil, and garlic. Set aside for 30 minutes.

2 Pour oil into a nonstick pan. Saute marinated chicken breast.

3 Add salt and pepper.

4 Serve while hot.

 

Salpicao Shepherd’s Pie

Serves 3

 

300 grams beef sirloin, finely chopped

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons oil

1/4 cup Knorr Liquid Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

300 grams mashed potato

2 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons milk

 

1 Marinate beef sirloin in Knorr Liquid Seasoning, soy sauce, and garlic. Set aside for 30 minutes.

2 Pour oil into a nonstick pan. Saute marinated beef sirloin. Set aside.

3 Mix mashed potato, butter, and milk.

4 Layer beef and mashed potato in a rectangular dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
