Creamy Filipino Spaghetti

No Filipino party is complete without Pinoy spaghetti. While Italians may turn their noses up on our version, the classic sweet-savory, meaty blend is enough to evoke memories of childhood birthday parties.

The classic Filipino spaghetti gets its distinctive sweetness from a blend of catsup, tomato sauce, and brown sugar. For a tastier and creamier blend, pour in NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream.

Yield: 4-6 servings

Creamy Filipino Spaghetti Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece small onion, minced
100 grams freshly ground pork
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup banana catsup
2 pieces hotdogs, sliced
1/2 cup water
1 sachet 8-gram MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 pack 125-ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
250 grams spaghetti pasta
2 tablespoons grated cheese

How to Make Creamy Filipino Spaghetti:

1 Sauté garlic and onion in oil. Add ground pork and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, catsup, and hotdogs. Pour water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
2 Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and brown sugar. Pour NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream and set aside.
3 Boil pasta according to package directions.
4 Strain pasta and toss in the sauce. Transfer on a serving plate and top with cheese. Serve immediately.



Creamy Pork Steak

The bistek Tagalog we all know and love has tender meat chunks swimming in a peppery-tangy blend of soy sauce and calamansi juice. By simply adding NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream, the sauce is easily transformed into a gravy-like consistency.

You’ll want to pair this with bowls of steaming rice. Don’t forget to add red onions for extra crunch!

Yield: 4 servings

Creamy Pork Steak Ingredients:

½ kilo sliced pork shoulder
1 sachet 8-gram MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
? teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon calamansi juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 piece small red onion, cut into rings
1 pack 125-ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream

How to Make Creamy Pork Steak:

1 In a pan, season pork with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, pepper, soy sauce, sugar, and calamansi juice. Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender. Strain and reserve cooking liquid.
2 Sauté onion separately in 1 tablespoon of oil.
3 Sauté pork in remaining oil until light golden brown. Pour cooking liquid and NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream. Gently simmer for 2 minutes.
4 Transfer creamy pork steak on a serving plate, top with sautéed onion, and serve.



Creamy Tuna Dip

No party is complete without munchies to snack on. Buying ready-made dip is the easy way out, but why not pull out all the stops and prepare tuna dip from scratch?

Yield: 4-6 servings

Creamy Tuna Dip Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small can spicy tuna in oil, drained (reserve oil)
1 pack 125-ml NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
1 teaspoon MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
3 tablespoons grated cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 piece small red onion, diced small
1 tablespoon sliced spring onion
1 box nachos chips or
1 piece baguette, sliced and toasted

How to Make Creamy Tuna Dip

1 Sauté garlic and tuna in tuna oil. Pour NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream and gently simmer for 2 minutes. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®.
2 Set aside to cool. Stir in cheese, mayonnaise, and red onion.
3 Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with spring onion. Serve with nacho chips or toasted baguette slices.
