Here are three recipes for egg torta with ground pork, corned beef, and potatoes. All-In-One Tortang Giniling Recipe

Loved by kids, fried eggs are good on its own. But they can be made even better and tastier with meat and veggies! Level up this family favorite by creating an all-in-one dish with freshly ground pork. Amp up the nutritional value of the dish by adding bits of veggies like potatoes and carrots, which also give it extra heft, flavor, and color. If you want, you may substitute pork with other protein like ground chicken or flaked cooked fish.

Yield: 4-6 servings

All-In-One Tortang Giniling Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece onion, chopped
2 pieces tomatoes, chopped
1/4 kilo freshly ground pork
1 piece potato, peeled and diced
1 piece small carrot, diced
1 sachet 8-gram MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
6 pieces medium fresh eggs

How to Make All-in-One Tortang Giniling:

1 Sauté garlic, onion, tomato, pork, potato, and carrot in oil. Season with 1/2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.

2 Beat eggs and season with remaining 1/2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.

3 Pour beaten egg, gently stir, and cook until barely set. Cover with a plate, flip, and return to the pan to cook the other side. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with preferred dipping sauce.

Tortang Corned Beef Recipe

Eggs and corned beef are a match made in heaven, and arguably one of the best meals to start the day with. But if you’re busy and pressed for time in the morning and want something quick, combine the two to create one filling torta! Serve it with hot steamed rice for a delicious breakfast.

Yield: 4-6 servings

Tortang Corned Beef Ingredients:

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece onion, chopped
1 piece potato, diced
1 small can corned beef
1/2 sachet 8-gram MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
6 pieces medium fresh eggs

How to Make Tortang Corned Beef:

1 Sauté garlic, onion, potato, and corned beef in oil in a non-stick pan.

2 Beat eggs and season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Pour and stir until barely set and continue to cook over low heat.

3 Place a plate to cover, flip, and slide back the egg to the pan to cook the other side. Remove from the pan and set aside. Cut into serving pieces, transfer on a serving plate, and serve warm.

Torta de Patata Recipe

If you prefer veggies in your torta, here’s a meatless version that promises to be just as delicious. Potatoes are the main star of this recipe, which is inspired by a classic dish from Spain. Torta de Patata Ingredients:

1/2 kilo potatoes peeled, sliced thinly
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 piece large onion, cut into strips
1 sachet 8-gram MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 pieces medium fresh eggs
4 pieces cheese slices

How to Make Torta de Patata:

1 Sauté potato and onion in olive oil in a non-stick pan. Season with 1/2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and pepper. Remove and set aside to cool.

2 Beat eggs and season with remaining 1/2 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Add sautéed potato mixture.

3 Pour half of the mixture in the same pan, carefully stir, and cook until barely set. Place cheese on top and pour remaining potato and egg mixture. Cook until barely set. Cover with a plate, flip, and return in the pan to cook the other side.

4 Remove from the pan and set aside. Cut into serving pieces, transfer on a serving plate, and serve warm.
