The secret to this Pinoy bar chow is letting the pork and tofu simmer in the sauce so it soaks up the flavor!

 

Using cooked liempo makes whipping up this well-loved Filipino appetizer super easy!

 

1 pack firm tofu, cut into small cubes
1/4 kg cooked liempo
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoon sugar
1 medium red onion, minced
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 cup oil
 
1 Fry the tofu cubes in oil until golden brown. Drain oil in paper towels.
2 In another pan, add the soy sauce and vinegar. Allow to simmer.
3 Add minced onion, green chillies, sugar, fried tofu and cooked liempo. Stir together and let simmer.
4 Remove from heat. Serve hot.
