The Quickest Way to Clean Your Microwave
Here are easy steps to take when cleaning this handy kitchen appliance.
Microwave ovens get all sorts of stains from flying food particles and bubbling sauces. If you haven’t cleaned your microwave in awhile, it's time to give it some TLC.
Here are the steps you need to take to make this handy appliance squeaky clean again.
Place a mug filled with water and a few lemon slices in the center of the microwave, and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Leave the mug for 3 more minutes—the steam will soften food spills and the lemon aroma will eliminate odors.
Use cloth soaked in warm, soapy water to wipe down the insides of the microwave.
Remove the turntable and use a toothbrush to scrub the wheels.
If you have a microwave oven with a plastic exterior, wipe it down with all-purpose cleaner. For stainless-steel microwaves, use cloth dipped in water and dishwashing liquid to wipe it down.
