We have all been there: you grab a slice of bread from the bag only to realize that the lock that came with it broke. How do you seal the bag of bread so it stays as fresh as possible?
You can do any number of things to seal the bag so it’s airtight again and won’t invite pests for a midnight snack. You might twist the top of the plastic and fold it under the leftover slices. You can use a rubber band or an errant twist tie to help close the opening. You can even use a heat sealer or vacuum sealer to do the trick, too!
We also found this super-smart hack from plantyou on Instagram:

She shows you that closing the bag involves nothing more than the bag itself that the slices are in. Here’s how she does it: give the top of the plastic a quick but tight twist then open and push down the plastic over the loaf.
Easy and ingenious!
