Peeling fruits doesn’t have to be difficult. Learn how to work with pomelos and peel them the easy way:
1 With a paring knife, make a centimeter-long incision at the top part of the fruit. Hold the fruit fi rmly with your left hand. With your right hand, cut through the thick skin and white fiber in a circular motion, all the way until the base of the fruit.
Turn the fruit with your left hand while you continue cutting the peel downward in a continuous long strip. Avoid cuttng through the pulp.
2 Pull the thick peel of the fruit completely. Gently peel off all the white fibrous part.
3 Divide the pomelo in segments. Peel away the membrane that encases each segment.
