Tip of the Week: How to Segment Citrus Fruits

Do you always have a hard time making criss-cut citrus wedges?

Love making citrus wedges but have a hard time doing them? Here's how to do it:

1 Using a sharp knife, slice off both ends of the orange. This will prevent the fruit from rolling.

2 Next, discard the skin by slicing in even, downward strokes around the fruit. Remove any remaining white pith.

3 Slice between the membranes to release the segments. Catch any juice that oozes out by slicing the orange over a bowl.
