For Christmas, the 1771 Events & Catering is bringing together the best of the best dishes from these restaurants and upsized it into holiday party platters. The platters can serve 8 to 10 people, too, and you don't have to order separately anymore!
From Chateau 1771, you can have a platter of their famous Baked Sea Bream with Creamy Mushroom and Spinach Sauce. The seafood dish uses oven-baked sea bream filets, served with sautéed mushroom and spinach, then finished with cream. As for Sentro 1771, there's the heartier option to serve a platter of a different kind of caldereta called the Beef Osso Buco Caldereta. This is made with braised bone-in beef shank with spices, tomatoes, carrots, and bell peppers.Â
If you know someone who's a vegetarian, 1771 Events & Catering is also including Sentro 1771's Vegetable Kare-Kare for the holidays. This vegetarian version of the Filipino favorite is actually made from scratch-yes, they ground and roasted their own peanuts for this dish. This dish includes eggplant, long beans, petchay, puso ng saging, roasted peanuts drizzled with atsuete oil, and is best served with a bit of bagoong on the side!
Also included in the 1771 Events & Catering are Flatiron 1771's Seafood Jambalaya, Chicken Fusilli, Baked Penne Chorizo, and the Pan-Fried Chicken with Three Cheeses.Â
The Seafood Jambalaya is a paella filled with sausage, bell pepper, onion and celery topped with shrimp, squid, clams, and mussels. For your pasta needs, the Baked Penne Chorizo is made with penne pasta layered with chorizo, cheese, béchamel, and Neapolitan sauce that are baked until the cheese is melted.Â
You can never go wrong with serving chicken for Noche Buena. From Flatiron 1771's menu, you can have a platter of the Chicken Fusilli that's made with chicken breast strips cooked in white wine and fusilli pasta, then tossed with a bright flavored no-nut pesto and Parmesan cheese. The Pan-Fried Chicken with Three Cheeses, on the other hand, is made with boneless chicken legs that are seasoned with garlic and rosemary, then topped with mushroom sauce, Parmesan, Emmenthal, and mozzarella cheese, then gratinated.
