4 Ways to Use Leftover Tomato Sauce

Leftover sauce can be a good thing!

It’s not uncommon to find that you cooked more tomato sauce than you need for your pasta dish. What to do? Store any leftover in the freezer and take them out for these four other dishes you can make with your leftover sauce:

Huevos Rancheros

You can add a few more ingredients to tomato or bolognese sauce and you can whip up a Mexican-inspired feast in no time.

Homemade Ravioli

Just add herbs: thyme, basil, and a teaspoon of sugar and you have the sauce for your ravioli.

Chicken Piccata with Bell Pepper Tomato Sauce

You don’t need to make tomato sauce for this dish if you have some in the freezer.

Grilled Lapu-lapu with Grilled Tomato Sauce

This recipe uses tomato soup as a bed for the grilled fish but a chunky, herb-flavored sauce will do, too.
