This Cup Of Leche Flan Is The Best Dessert You Can Get For Under 40 Pesos
What's the first place you'd think of when you crave really good leche flan? In most instances, you'd probably have an heirloom family recipe in mind, use a fool-proof recipe (check out this recipe from pastry chef Heny Sison), order from GrabFood or Foodpanda, or order from small food businesses. The last place you'd probably ever consider? A convenience store like 7-Eleven.
In case you didn't know, 7-Eleven has tons of hidden gems in their open freezers like that solo slice of old-fashioned chocolate cake and a good-for-sharing tub of taho. And yes, 7-Eleven has really good leche flan, too.
Priced at P39 per cup, this small cup of leche flan is the best 39 pesos you'll ever spend. It's the kind of leche flan that's dense, thick, creamy, sweet but not too cloying-all the things you'd want from leche flan. It's a little expensive for its serving size, but it's definitely worth it for its taste. Sometimes, all you really need is a small serving for your leche flan cravings.
The only catch with 7-Eleven's leche flan is that it's not always available. So if you ever chance upon this tiny cup of luscious flan, make sure to grab one and try it for yourself!
