Beard Papa Has New Strawberry Cream Puffs!

It's available for a limited time only!

If the Philippines is currently experiencing an oversupply of mangoes, in Japan and South Korea, strawberries are currently in season. You don't have to fly out to enjoy the berries, however, especially since Beard Papa now offers a Strawberry flavor that you can get in a Pie Cream Puff (P85), Cookie Cream Puff (P90), Eclair Cream Puff (P90), Mini Puff (p135/five pieces), or Kaze Kaze (P100).

Beard Papa uses strawberry cream imported from Japan for their cream puffs.

The Strawberry cream puffs are filled with strawberry cream in a pretty pink hue, and the strawberry bits mixed with the rich cream will remind you of ice cream. Get the Eclair, and your cream puff will come with a strawberry shell on top.

You can get Cookies & Cream in your choice of base: Pie, Cookie, and Eclair.

Aside from Strawberry, you can also opt for the new Cookies & Cream, with cookie bits in a cream filling.

"We change our flavors every two months," shares Janica Lao, the franchise owner. "[The Japan headquarters] gives us a list of flavors to choose from. Then we order our ingredients from Japan based on our estimate [of the demand]. So when our order runs out, the flavor's sold out, too." That just means you have to hurry and try these before they disappear.

Beard Papa is at 2/F Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati City; and 2/F Promenade Mall, Greenhills, San Juan City.
