Buko Pie with Langka? It Exists And It Looks Just As Good As It Sounds!
It's a different take on the buko pie.
Buko pies are one of the most popular pastries in the Philippines but even a classic and well-loved pastry such as this can be spun into something different and more delicious. Introducing Astoria Plaza's Buko Langka Pie.
A traditional buko pie has that combination of custard filling with buko strips resulting in a sweet and creamy filling that mingles with the saltiness of the pie crust. Astoria Plaza's buko pie version adds the bright and sugary taste of langka or jackfruit, then tops it with loads of streusel to make it crunchy.
You can even give this buko pie more wow factor by adding a scoop of your favorite ice cream on top. You can go with a safer option like vanilla or you can also opt for halo-halo (because langka!).
If you're interested in trying Astoria Plaza's Buko Langka Pie, this costs P500 per pie and you can order it from Astoria Hotels and Resorts' website.
