One of the best places for breakfast in Tagaytay is at Balay Dako. The establishment has long been famous for its breakfast buffet but because of the pandemic, this was not offered to the public.
For those who miss Balay Dako’s breakfast buffet with its breathtaking view of Taal, we have good news for you. Balay Dako is scheduled to offer its breakfast buffet once again starting March 26, 2022. This service will be offered every weekend and every holiday, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The breakfast buffet is priced at P950/adult and P650/children below four feet, while toddlers and below can dine for free. Do take note that prices are subject to a 10% service charge.

First time trying Balay Dako’s breakfast buffet? You can expect the breakfast usuals like corned beef (a must-try!), tapa, and tocino, which you can serve with your preferred egg from the egg station and customized fried rice from the rice station. You can make your dream silog pairings come true!
You can also expect rice porridges (champorado and arroz caldo) and a variety of bread you can stuff with jam and cheeses. Of course, refreshments such as coffee and juices are also included in the breakfast buffet!
The most important thing to remember is to leave enough room for dessert. The breakfast buffet does include an assortment of kakanin, fresh fruits, and ice-cold desserts for you to enjoy.
