While pastry trends have come and gone this quarantine, an early catalyst of the dessert craze in Manila was banana bread. Many home bakers whipped up the pastry while dessert lovers ordered it left and right. You may have already had your fill of the old-fashioned dessert at this point in the year, but we found a flavored version of it that may bring back the hype: The Banana Buds' Banana Bread Loaves are available in Ube, Matcha, Chocolate, and Banana Crunch!

These flavored loaves feature the same light, sweet, warmly spiced banana flavor as classic banana bread, but with a fun twist thanks to the different flavors infused in each one. If you're loyal to the OG, try the Banana Crunch, which features the same signature banana bread taste with a crunchy top layer. For ube addicts, since the purple yam has been the star flavor of the entire quarantine thus far, you'll want to include the Ube loaf in your order. The Banana Buds also has Matcha on their menu for those who enjoy its distinct, earthy taste and of course, Chocolate is always a staple. Either way, you're sure to find a flavor you love!
