You Can Now Get This Famous Banoffee Pie At Shangri-La Plaza
This restaurant offers homecooked-style dishes, too.
When you find yourself in Shangri-La Plaza and want to try a new restaurant, make sure to pass by the newly-opened branch of Banapple for a serving of their famous Banoffee Pie. Their banoffee pie is made with a buttery graham cracker crust, then topped with slices of sweet banana and dulce de leche, followed by a layer of light cream and garnished with chocolate curls.Â
If you don't know Banapple's menu besides its banoffee pie, a few of the delicious dishes you should try are their Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs, which is made with tender ribs coated in a sweet, tangy, and smoky sauce and served with rice and corn, and the Chicken Parmigiano, a dish made with crunchy chicken topped with tangy tomato and melted cheese, then served with rice and carrots.
If banana desserts aren't your thing, Banapple is also famous for its Apple Caramel Crumble Pie. This pie is made with a sweet mixture of apple wedges and cinnamon toffee that's layered on top of a crust. It's topped with a generous amount of pastry crumble to give it a bit of crunch in every bite.
Banapple's new Shangri-La Plaza branch is located at Level 5 of the Main Wing.
