Kirkland Signature is a brand under Costco, a membership-only retail store known for selling items in bulk or wholesale. They sell all sorts of items, like clothing, hardware, vitamins, and of course, grocery items.

Kirkland's food items are a pretty common pasalubong from overseas Filipino workers (OFW) living in the United States of America (USA), but one doesn't have to know someone overseas to have them pack Kirkland items inside a balikbayan box. Did you know Kirkland items are actually available at our local supermarkets?

If you're a member of S&R Membership Shopping and Landers Superstore, then you already know these supermarkets have Kirkland items! And even if they are sold at a higher price compared to their retail prices at Costco, just remember that at least you do not have to book a flight if you want these Kirkland items at either S&R or Landers.

Not a member of S&R Membership Shopping? Not a problem! You have a few ways to circumvent that dilemma:

Milk Chocolate with Almonds

There's nothing quite like a tub of Kirkland's milk chocolate-coated almonds. The milk chocolate is not cloyingly sweet and the almonds give a solid crunch and add a tinge of saltiness to contrast the chocolate. Be warned: it's addicting that you can consume the entire tub in no time!

Apple Cider Vinegar

One of the more common uses of apple cider vinegar is to suppress one's appetite, as it may help you feel full. But if you're buying a huge amount of apple cider vinegar like that of Kirkland Signature, you can use this to prolong the shelf life of food, for salad vinaigrette, for steak marinades, and for washing fruits and vegetables. It also helps to produce good hard-boiled eggs.
