As little as P100 can help people affected by the pandemic and the recent typhoons that hit the country have a better Christmas.

Brand Aid: Noche Buena Para sa Lahat is a food drive project and is a collaboration of several companies seeking to address the plight of people who are suffering involuntary hunger caused by the pandemic in Metro Manila, and they've found a way you can do it from the safety of your home.

Brand Aid gives you two options to extend your help:

  1. 1. Donate P100 to the cause.
  2. 2. Sponsor one family's noche buena worth P300, who will receive a pre-packed Noche Buena basket. These food packs are to be delivered to Filipino homes suffering from hunger during this holiday season.

You can do either option from Brand Aid's official Lazada page.

Each food basket contains: 1 822-gram can Dole Fruit Cocktail, 1 410-ml can Angel Kremdensada, 1 350-gram pack Fiesta Spaghetti Noodles, 1 500-gram pack Fiesta Spaghetti Sauce, 2 10-gram packs Knorr Pork Cubes, 1 400-gram pack Fiesta Elbow Macaroni, and 1 200-ml pack Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise. These ingredients can be made into these popular holiday dishes: an easy fruit salad, a spaghetti dish, and a macaroni dish, and it's enough to feed a family of five.

This campaign runs starting November 22, Saturday, until December 8, Tuesday.

Brand Aid: Noche Buena Para sa Lahat was inspired by Live Aid, a fund-raising concert that began in 1985 to raise funds for the hungry in Africa. Brand Aid likewise aims to alleviate the problem of hunger in Metro Manila. Led by Unilever Philippines, RFM Corporation, Dole, Century Pacific Food, Inc., and Lazada, this food drive is in partnership with Rise Against Hunger Philippines, an international hunger relief organization. This drive is also in support of Pilipinas Kontra Gutom, the movement led by Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles under the government's Task Force Zero Hunger.

Brand Aid hopes to raise P100,000 within the 2-week period. The four food companies have already pledged P70,000 noche buena food packs to the cause. Rise Against Hunger will distribute the packs to a pre-selected list of families.
