3 New Craft Brewers to Watch For at Brewfest MNL 2016
It's craft beer galore!
Brewfest Manila is back and it’s better than ever. After the success of last year’s event, the team at Brewfest decided to expand their scope by including even more craft breweries to their already impressive roster.
To help you make sense of the pale ales and the IPAs at Brewfest, we’ve collated a list of some of the newer craft breweries that’ll be showcasing their wares at the World Trade Center Patio from February 19-21. It’s time to put your beer goggles on.
Touted as Cebu’s very first craft brewery, Turning Wheels churns out a handful of carefully crafted ales, including their Rippin’ Red Ale, Moutain King IPA, and Singlespeed Imperial Stout.
This Manila-based noir-inspired brewery prides itself for its unique craft beers made with fresh hops and barely. Their unusual character translates into their beers which include the Stoned Crow IPA, the Morena Clara Amber Ale and the Crow’s Nest Pale Ale.
Found right around the chilly hills of Baguio, this brewery was the result of a bored man’s quest to bring quality beer to the Philippines. Their brews, which include the Englishman in New York American Pale Ale, the Message in a Bottle Black IPA and the Old Xavier 56 Bohemian Pilsner, are made using the German and West Coast brewing styles.
