Cafe Ysabel's Frozen Strawberry Shortcake Is Available For Delivery!
The summer months are coming to a close, but the heat definitely remains. It's not all bad though; if anything, it's a great excuse to indulge in a cool, icy dessert. How does a frozen strawberry dessert sound? You can get Frozen Strawberry Shortcake in Can (P980) from Cafe Ysabel.
Creamy and full of fresh fruit, Cafe Ysabel's frozen shortcake can keep in the freezer for up to a month after purchase and can be enjoyed thawed or semi-frozen. The best part is, it's available for delivery: place an order either by contacting them at 0995-590-5515 or filling out their order form, and pay via BDO bank deposit. From there, you can either pick it up at their San Juan location or book a courier such as Lalamove or Grab. As of writing, the earliest available date for the frozen cake is on May 23.
Aside from the frozen version, Cafe Ysabel also makes a chilled version of the Strawberry Shortcake in Can that's available only at certain dates. See their Facebook page for updates-the nearest available is on May 23.
Aside from the cake, you can get other reheatable Cafe Ysabel dishes that are great to stock up on for emergencies, including their tender Callos (P520) and famous Lengua Sulipeña (P690). Also on their lineup are various food items, such as Pomodoro and Italian Sausage Sauce for Pasta (P408/500 grams), Chorizo de Bilbao (P618/500 grams), Cafe Ysabel's House Bread (P488/dozen with no dip, P936/dozen with 360 ml Cafe Ysabel Bread Dip), and Chef Gene's Sukang Sikat (P148).
Cafe Ysabel is a well-loved dining institution that's been around since the '80s. A date and family-gathering favorite, they're known for their classic takes on Western and Filipino dishes and ultra-romantic interiors. Although they closed their original San Juan outpost in 2017, they reopened in a new location by 2018 and continue to be a favorite among Filipinos to this day.
For orders, contact 0995-590-5515 or check out their order form. For more information, check out Cafe Ysabel's Facebook page.
