Learn, Wine, And Dine At This Spanish Cooking Class

Center for Culinary Arts (CCA) will offer a dine-and-wine class for cooking enthusiasts to learn the rich, traditional Spanish cuisine from Chef Juan Carlos 'JC' de Terry, the founder of Terry's Bistro and is known to be the "King of Spanish cuisine". 

Chef JC de Terry owns Terry's Bistro, a restaurant that offers a fusion of Spanish and Filipino dishes with a curated wine selection.

This "Wine and Learn" exclusive masterclass is open to the public for P2,500 per session and P4,000 for two sessions inclusive of the ingredients. The classes are scheduled on September 25 and 30, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Terry's Bistro, Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City. 

Chef JC will be assisted by Chef Raul Avila during this two-day cooking class that will tackle different Spanish dishes. On the first day, he will be teaching how to cook paella, make sangria and churros. One the second day, it will focus more on tapas, like the croquettes, patatas bravas, and other recipes. For an additional P500, participants can enjoy the dishes with a complimentary drink from Terry Bistro's wider selection of quality wines.

According to Ana Beatrice Trinidad, CCA Manila's PR and Business Development Director, CCA and Chef JC's collaboration serves as a lifestyle track and a teaser for a longer program.  She adds, "We are looking at launching a professional track that is all about Spain's regional cooking, [like,] Valencia, Basque, Navarra, and Galicia. On a side note, these special classes highlight the extensive CCA network. We are looking at partnering with reputable personalities for the benefit of our students."
