One of the drinks you shouldn’t miss on your trip to Thailand is their milk tea. You can often find Thai milk tea sold along the street and you can say it’s the equivalent of our samalamig like sago’t gulaman and buko juice. Thai milk tea is milky with an overwhelming sweetness that is mellowed down when it is served in a glass filled with crushed ice.
In the Philippines, Chatime is one of the more known milk tea shops that offer Thai milk tea. They are relaunching their Thai milk tea beverage with the option of adding their new sticky rice, sticking to its Thai theme. This time Chatime is also introducing a new flavor, the Thai Tea Mousse—also best paired with the new sticky rice add-on.
Chatime’s Thai Milk Tea and Thai Tea Mousse with Sticky Rice are available in Chatime branches.
