Cakes You Can Order From Conti’s Bakeshop (When Mango Bravo Isn’t Available)
Try something new!
When you go to Conti's with an intention to buy a cake, do you always go for the Mango Bravo? Well, we can't blame you, its irresistibly luscious cream, bits of yellow mangoes, drizzled with chocolate syrup begs for a second slice. But what happens when it isn't available?
If you haven't explored the Conti's cake menu beyond its best-selling Mango Bravo, we have a list of different Conti's cake recommendations that are just as delicious. Switch it up with these cakes:
One of the cakes Conti's patrons go for is their signature Sans Rival (P795). This cake has all the familiar layers and textures of this classic cake: chewy wafers, filled with buttery icing, and it's coated in cashew nuts.
Conti's surely knows how to win the hearts of chocolate fans with their Chocolate Obsession cake (P795), which is made with Belgian milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, and white chocolate cream with wafers, and dusted with cocoa powder. Even if it sounds like a mouthful of chocolate, it's not cloyingly sweet!
Another chocolatey cake is the Black Velvet (P595/mini and P1,175/regular). This chocolate cake has layers of velvety chocolate cake with cream cheese filling, coated with luscious cream icing, and its sides decorated with bittersweet chocolate sprinkles.
The Banana Dream (P845) is a distant cousin of the classic banoffee pie. This cake has layers of chewy wafers, filled with sweet banana cream, vanilla sponge, and surrounded by mocha mousse. It's then drizzled with caramel syrup.
One of the more recent cakes to make a comeback on Conti's dessert menu is the Ube Custard cake (P895). This cake has alternating layers of ube sponge cake, custard, real ube, and it's frosted with a vibrant purple frosting. Any ube fan will love this cake!
If you're looking for that distinct sweet, tangy notes from ripe mangoes, another dessert you can try is Conti's Mango Tart (P725/mini and P1,050/regular). This is made with a layer of yellow mangoes and vanilla cream on a buttery crust.
