The Japanese Are Cooking Rice With KFC Fried Chicken And We’re Here For It
Why didn't we think of it before?
Fun fact: the Japanese flock to KFC as a Christmas tradition. According to an article by BBC, a marketing campaign from 1974 led to Japanese folks having KFC Fried Chicken during the Christmas season. It is and still is a phenomenon unique to Japan.
Now, they've thought of making it better: they are cooking rice along with KFC fried chicken! The formula is simple: rice + KFC original fried chicken + soy sauce + chicken stock, all in a rice cooker. When the rice is cooked, the already-cooked chicken will be extra moist. They add a bit of seasoning (salt and pepper!) and then it's served warm. We can just imagine how savory-good it is!
Now, why didn't we think of this sooner?
