This Basque Burnt Cheesecake Is Topped With Fresh Mangoes
Calling all mango lovers!
A Basque burnt cheesecake may be deceiving to the eye at first glance because it looks like it's spent just a little too much time in the oven. But in fact, it's precisly those charred edges that gives this dessert its unique texture and flavor. Originating in Spain, it's a lighter form of cheesecake compared to the American version and typically made with just a few ingredients. The result is a cake texture that marries the fluffy chiffon of Japanese-style cheesecake with the rich creaminess of a classic American one. To make it even more exciting, we found a version of the dessert topped with fresh mangoes from IG-based CoZo Bake Shop!
CoZo's version of the pastry features the same fluffy and creamy texture and signature golden brown edges. They finish off the cake with a generous helping of mangoes on top to complement the light, cheesy flavor. Every slice will be jam-packed with mango chunks!
You can order CoZo Bake's mango basque burnt cheesecake through their Instagram page for P850.
