Whenever we see photos of monthly baby milestones on social media, it gives us instant good vibes that make us go “Aww!” But when we saw the monthly milestone photos of Daddy KG Formarejo and Mommy Jace Lapis Formarejo’s baby Kally Grae, we went from “Aww” to “Yum!”
The theme they chose for their baby is nothing but every child’s and child at heart’s favorite Pinoy restaurant, Jollibee.
In an exclusive interview with Smart Parenting, Daddy KG shared why he and his wife chose this theme for their firstborn’s photoshoot.
Jollibee-Themed Baby Milestone Photos
“Cravings ni wife ang Jollibee foods noong buntis kay Grae, especially Chicken Joy and fries. And also, favorite na talaga namin ang Jollibee noon pa man. Even sa work ko, Jollibee ang laging kinakainan when working on site. Naisip din namin na Jollibee foods only para unique and consistent ang monthly theme,” he said.
Daddy KG proudly shared with Smart Parenting their baby’s milestone photos from month one to month 10.

The dad from Los Banos, Laguna said he worked on producing the props in their child’s milestone photos. He only used recycled materials and available supplies.

Looking at the details, we could see (and taste!) how much love and effort were put into every spread!

If you are also a parent who is planning to take photos of your baby’s milestone per month, here’s Daddy KG’s tip: “Use your imagination and be resourceful with the materials you have in your home and in local shops. Also, it helps if you can think of a unique and consistent theme for your baby,” he said.

He added, “I also encourage other daddies to always support these special events of their wives and babies, not only financially, but also give them your time and best effort.” He said, being part of a community of parents helps a lot. “Special shoutout to the DadbudPh Facebook group by Sir Joey Ong,” Daddy KG said.

Their baby is already 10 months old as of press time, so we asked what their plans are, especially for her first birthday. “Next month, food will be Chickenjoy and maybe Coke Float too. We are planning to celebrate her first birthday party at a Jollibee store.
“At five months of age, she already recognizes Jollibee, so we are excited to see her together with a Jollibee mascot at her birthday party. Her reaction to seeing Jollibee in person might be hilarious.”
