Bo's Coffee's local coffee needs no introduction, but have you met the homegrown coffee chain's younger sister, Daily? Daily by Bo's Coffee has a trendier, more modern look compared to Bo's coffee and the coffee is a little cheaper. Just to give you an idea of how affordable the drinks are, the cheapest drink on the menu is P75 and the most expensive drink is P150. Perfect for those on a budget, and perfect for your daily cup of coffee!

We tried two of Daily's popular drinks which are the Kapesada (P105/regular) and the Blended Mocha (P120/regular). The coffee beans used for these drinks, as with the other Daily beverages, are prepared daily using the huge pour-overs right beside the counter. According to the Daily barista we talked to, Daily uses a blend of local Arabica and Robusta beans!

Daily's Kapesada uses iced coffee and condensed milk, similar to Vietnamese coffees and Spanish lattes. This type of drink is typically on the sweet side but based on our experience with Kapesada, even with the generous amount of condensed milk stirred into the drink, you can still taste the nuttiness of the coffee. If you like your coffee sweet and very strong, this Daily drink is definitely what we recommend you order!

As for the Blended Mocha, Daily uses brewed coffee and blends it with ice and chocolate, resulting in a chocolaty slush. For this drink, the chocolate is more pronounced than the coffee itself which is perfect if you have an affinity for chocolate.

We paired these drinks with a slice of Daily's Coffee Bar (P60), which is a coffee-flavored square (we think it's coffee-flavored banana bread though!) topped with crushed coffee beans and chocolate bits. They also serve other food such as sweet bagels and savory pizzas and pandesals.

Is the Kapesada or the Blended Mocha not your usual cup of coffee? Daily has other drinks on the menu, too. Aside from the usuals like Hot Black Coffee (P75), Hot Brown Coffee (P95) Iced Black (P85), Iced Coffee (P95), Iced Mocha (P120), Iced Vanilla (P115), Iced Hazelnut (P115), and Iced Caramel (P130), you also have other trendy drinks to try like the Iced Coffee Jelly (P130) which is sweetened with brown sugar and has coffee jelly sinkers.

Under their "Daily Signatures", there's the Iced Cream Cheese Coffee (P130) which uses milky iced coffee topped with homemade cream cheese; the Mocha Dinosaur (P120) which is an ice-blended coffee topped with chocolate sauce and chocolate powder, and the Iced Salted Caramel Cheesecake Coffee which uses iced coffee, milk, brown sugar, and salted caramel. (The Kapesada is part of the Daily Signatures, too!)
