For Your Post-Pandemic Travel: Daiso Opens ‘Standard Products’ in Shibuya

The items have that minimalistic Muji aesthetic but are way more affordable.

One of the must-visit places when you’re touring Japan are their 100-yen stores, the most popular being Daiso. Even if we do have several Daiso stores in the Philippines, it’s still worth a spot on your Japan itinerary because of the wider selection they have. The biggest branch at Funabashi has seven floors that include a basement.

In March 2021, Daiso stepped it up with a new store called Standard Products, a lifestyle store selling sleek, minimalist day-to-day items that are sold at a more affordable price. Most of the items Standard Products have are priced at 300 yen (P131) to 1,000 yen (P438).

From tableware, cookware, clothing, bags, to storage boxes, here are the different items you can expect from Standard Products:
