For Your Post-Pandemic Travel: Daiso Opens 'Standard Products' in Shibuya
The items have that minimalistic Muji aesthetic but are way more affordable.
One of the must-visit places when you're touring Japan are their 100-yen stores, the most popular being Daiso. Even if we do have several Daiso stores in the Philippines, it's still worth a spot on your Japan itinerary because of the wider selection they have. The biggest branch at Funabashi has seven floors that include a basement.
In March 2021, Daiso stepped it up with a new store called Standard Products, a lifestyle store selling sleek, minimalist day-to-day items that are sold at a more affordable price. Most of the items Standard Products have are priced at 300 yen (P131) to 1,000 yen (P438).
