Dunkin' Cereal Exists And We're Dying To Try It

It comes in two flavors!

Anyone who lives on their own knows the value of a good cereal: It's breakfast when you wake up late and have no time to throw anything else together but absolutely need to eat something, lunch when you're too busy to get up from your desk because work is being a pain, or, well, dinner when you just can't bring yourself to cook and want to have something with marginally more fiber than your usual burger delivery. So we're predicting that any cereal eater would do a little happy dance at the news that Dunkin' Donuts now makes cereal-and it's caffeinated, to boot.

Dunkin' is working with Post Consumer Brands, known for making several other popular cereal staples like Honey Bunches of Oats and Raisin Bran, to make two flavors: Mocha Latte, which has "a hint of chocolate and latte-swirled marshmallows," and Caramel Macchiato, which has caramel-swirled marshmallows to go with Dunkin' coffee-flavored cereal pieces.

Both contain "very small amounts of caffeine, roughly a 10th of a cup of coffee," says Nerdist. "Getting the flavor right on our new cereals was a top priority, and we think we've nailed the rich, smooth and creamy taste," said Josh Jans, Brand Manager of Cereal Partnerships at Post Consumer Brands, according to the site.
