These Smoked Gouda Truffle Fries Will Be Your Next Obsession
More reasons to go back!
Elephant Grounds drew us in with their brunch eats, rice bowls, and ice cream sandwiches when they opened their doors at BGC in 2019. But they continue to show us that they're just not done waving their culinary magic wands just yet. The café from Hong Kong recently came up with new dishes that'll give you more reasons to go back, starting with the Smoked Gouda Truffle Fries (P275)-that's their skinny fries with a shower of gouda cheese, white truffle oil, and garlic aioli on the side for a mix of sharp, umami, and pungent flavors.

With the increasing demand for more vegetable-forward eats, Elephant Grounds also introduces two new vegetarian dishes: The Buddha Bowl (P385), which has rice, quinoa, pesto, grilled baby corn, white bean stew, pico de gallo, and mushrooms; and the Mushroom Toast (P325), which features earthy mushrooms, sundried tomato hummus, pesto, and a runny onsen egg on their homemade sourdough and has all the umami goodness you need to not miss the meat. Cap off your meal on a soothing note with the Babyccino (P90), a coffee-free concoction with steamed milk, cocoa, and cinnamon. (And if you're still hungry, don't leave without trying their extra-gooey Gruyère Grilled Cheese!)
