LIST: Filipino Restaurants In Manila Where You Can Bring Your Balikbayan
You can find all your Pinoy food favorites here.
Looking for a place to bring family and friends to a resto "where there's Pinoy food"? We've got you covered with this quick list: from those that serve traditional dishes to places where regional dishes share the spotlight with your favorites, here are all the restaurants you can bring all your balikbayan family and friends:
This place is known for its flamboyant décor, which is equally popular as the food they serve. Go for the kare-kare, the sweet and sour lapu-lapu, and the Three-way Sisig made with pork, squid, and chopped banana heart (puso ng saging).
Café Juanita is at 19 West Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig City
Friends & Family
This BGC resto is new-ish, having only opened in 2018. The Butter Scallops will instantly make you eagerly wait for the rest of your meal but it is their Pinoy-style spaghetti that will take you back to your childhood (complete with hotdog-and-marshmallow-on-a-stick).
Friends & Family is at Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
Manam's take on Pinoy food is both refreshing and satisfying. You can't eat there without ordering the House Crispy Sisig (one of the best in the city, in our opinion) and the Crispy Pancit Palabok, which will leave you wanting to schedule another visit.

If you're looking to make a Pinoy meal feel a little like a feast, Mesa takes Pinoy dishes and makes it a bit party-worthy. Crispy boneless tilapia and the signature Crispchon will make any meal feel like a party.

If you're looking for Visayan fare, Sarsa is one place that does it well. The inasal is always reliable but there are new-ish things on the menu, too: Atay with Tsokolate sauce and Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings.
Sarsa is at SM Megamall, UP Town Center, Quezon City, SM Mall of Asia, 109 Rada Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, and 7th Avenue, BGC, Taguig.
Look for your Pinoy favorites at Sentro 1771: beef caldereta, lechon kawali, and sinigang na bangus sa miso. They also have dishes that are a bit extra: lamb caldereta and beef ribs binagoongan.
Sentro 1771 is at Greenbelt 5, Makati; Capitol Commons, Pasig; and Uptown BGC, Taguig.
Talisay, The Garden Cafe
If you want to avoid the malls and looking to find a stellar meal in the Quezon City area, newly-opened Talisay, The Garden Café is a good choice. The Molo Soup will ease you into a spread that tastes familiar but new. Make sure to order the Paella Mixta and the Lengua in Mushroom Sauce but save space for all their homemade bread and desserts, too.
Talisay, The Garden Cafe is located at 44 Maginhawa Street, Quezon City.
