We Bet You Didn't Know You Can Air Fry These Food Items, Too

Last year, everyone was flexing their newly bought air fryers and air-fried meals all over the internet. Since we were encouraged to stay at home because of the pandemic, every curious cook bought from online shops like Shopee.

One of the more famous brands when it comes to air fryers is Hanabishi. Their air fryers are reasonably priced and it does the job it's supposed to do. It can air fry French fries, nuggets, lechon kawali, fried chicken, and even baked desserts like cakes and cookies.

So, can you actually air-fry everything? We tried out some food items you never thought you can air fry using the Hanabishi Air Fryer HAFRYER 70:

1. Air Fryer Cheese Sandwich

If you don't have an electric sandwich press or you don't know how to go about pan-frying your grilled cheese sandwich, you can always just leave it in the air fryer for a few minutes! 

How to make an air fryer cheese sandwich: Butter both sides of the bread, add quick-melting cheese in between, and place toothpicks on both or all corners (to secure the top part of the sandwich). Set the temperate to 180 degrees C and set the timer for 5 minutes. Flip the sandwich and air-fry for another 5 minutes at 180 degrees C.

You can add this to your instant noodles!

2. Air Fryer Eggs

Boiling an egg over the stove is an option, but if you don't have time to keep an eye on it when it boils, you can just use leave it an air fryer for 20 minutes and you're assured of a hard-boiled with a slightly soft egg yolk-perfect for instant noodles and instant ramen!

How to air-fry eggs: Place 4-6 eggs inside the basket, set the temperature to 120 degrees C, and set the timer for 20 minutes. Let it cool and gently peel!

Best served with fish ball sauce!

3. Air Fryer Squid Balls

Squid balls, just like fish balls, require a lot of cooking oil to deep fry it, and luckily, an air fryer eliminates just that problem of using cups and cups of oil. 

How to air-fry squid balls: Place squid balls inside the basket, set the temperature to 180 degrees C, and set the timer for 10 minutes. You can put it back in if you want it more crispy. As soon as you hear a popping sound (similar to preparing popcorn in a microwave) you can stop the timer. Serve with fish ball sauce!
