The Newest Branch of FRNK Milk Bar Is Their First-Ever "Digital Store"
The beverage brand just opened its first "digital store."
Think about how deeply embedded technology has become in our daily lives. Chances are you check your smartphone first thing in the morning, or hop on a treadmill to get your daily dose of endorphins, before keeping your eyes glued to your computer screen at work and ending the day binge-watching your favorite series on Netflix.
With that, it's no surprise that the line between physical and digital worlds is becoming more and more blurred, in line with which we've seen the rise of "digital" and "phygital" stores that bring the best features of technology into the physical space. You can add FRNK Milk Bar to the list of brands exploring the concept, as they recently opened their first-ever "digital" store at SM Grand Central in Caloocan!
FRNK Milk Bar's "digital" store opened as part of their initiative for "better, more sustainable living" and features their signature hip-yet-playful look with shades of blue, amethyst, and white. It's equipped with a cool self-checkout kiosk that makes the ordering process a breeze, as you can place and customize your orders with a couple of taps on its digital touchscreen. You can even pay virtually, making for a safer, contactless experience with a shorter waiting time to boot!
You can catch your FRNK Milk Bar faves at the "digital" store, but while you're there, it's well worth trying out their recently released Rare Chizu Cake (P495). This dreamy dessert takes after the Japanese "rare" (no-bake) style of cheesecake, with layers of fresh yogurt, cream cheese, and an almond biscuit crust-plus toppings of fresh cobalt-blue flowers that pop out beautifully against its periwinkle top.
FRNK Milk Bar (a.k.a. FRNK) is a Japanese-style beverage and dessert brand that opened in 2019. Among their most famous creations are the ultra-Instagrammable Midnight Ichigo and Dirty Maccha beverages. They've expanded the brand to also offer pastries, including doughnuts, cakes, and cookies.
FRNK Milk Bar's "digital" store is at G/F Rizal Ave Extension, East Grace Park, Caloocan City. For more information, check out FRNK's Facebook page.
