Japanese food always hits the spot—especially when it’s done the traditional way and made with quality ingredients. Ginza Japanese Restaurant brought just that to the table when they opened their first outlet in Makati and second branch in Ortigas in 2022. Next up on their list of locations to bring their great eats to? Bonifacio Global City, as they recently opened their third outpost on 26th Street!
What You Need To Know About Ginza’s New Branch
Japanese restaurant Ginza is now on soft opening on the ground floor of Icon Plaza along 26th Street. The new branch flaunts a snazzy space with high ceilings, a wooden bar and wooden tables, and luxe, velvet-lined armchairs that are the perfect foil as you nosh on their topnotch Japanese eats.
What To Try At Ginza
In case you’ve never been to any of their branches, there’s plenty to chow down on at Ginza. Specialties include classic nigiri sushi like the Shake or Norwegian salmon (P150) and Hamachi (P200); modern rolls like the Ginza Futomaki (P880) loaded with tuna, salmon, hamachi, shime saba, ika (squid), and uni (sea urchin); noodle dishes like the famous Ginza Sumiyaki Udon (P850) with charcoal noodles and seafood; and robata-grilled skewered meats. Your best bet, of course, is to pair these umami eats with dranks, like Japanese draft beer to wine to gin and more; they’ve got you covered.
