Why hasn't anyone ever thought of combining lasagna and Arroz a la Cubana before? Arroz a la Cubana, the Filipino version, is a dish made with white rice, fried egg, tomato sauce, and ground meat; while lasagna is just as meaty and and is made with a creamy bechamel sauce.

Goldilocks combined these two dishes and created the Lasagna ala Cubana. This is made with ground beef, chopped carrots, and raisins cooked Arroz a la Cubana-style, then stuffed in between layers of al dente lasagna, creamy bechamel sauce, and a generous amount of melted cheese on top. The top of the Lasagna ala Cubana has a sunny side-up egg, while this dish's base is made with slices of fried saba.

To complete this unique lasagna experience, pair it with the complimentary slice of toasted Garlic Foccacia bread. It's soft, buttery, and garlicky, and garnished with chopped spring onions.

Goldilocks' Lasagna ala Cubana is available in solo (P197/serving) and party packs (P703/pack). You can place your order via GrabFood and Foodpanda.
