GrabFood And Foodpanda Suspends Food Delivery Services

No delivery services until further notice.

UPDATE as of March 17, 2020, 3p.m.: GrabFood and Foodpanda resume operations in Metro Manila.

In line with the President's declaration of the "enhanced community quarantine" in Luzon, GrabFood and Foodpanda have suspended their food delivery services today, March 17, until further notice.

In a Facebook post by Brian Cu, President of Grab Philippines, he says, "Alinsunod sa directive ng DOTr regarding sa Enhanced Community Quarantine na ipapatupad sa Luzon, nais po naming ipagbigay alam sa inyo na lahat ng ating mga Grab services - GrabCar, GrabTrike, GrabFood, GrabExpress, etc. sa buong Luzon ay pansamantala po nating ihihinto starting March 17, 12MN upang pahalagahan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng bawat isa."

Foodpanda has also suspended its services as seen on a notification when you open their application.

In a press conference of the President addressing the nation on March 16, President Rodrigo Duterte said that Luzon is now under an "enhanced community quarantine" from March 16, 12 midnight until April 12, 2020.
