One might think Metro Manila might be tired of the milk tea trend already but there's always something new that makes every adventurous eater happy. Happy Lemon's just introduced new Toasties, pocket sandwiches with different fillings that complements your cup of milk tea.Â
There are three different fillings: Cookies n' Cream, made with actual Oreos; the Three Cheese filling, just because one kind of cheese isn't enough; and, for milk tea fanatics, the Puff Pearls. Yes, this sandwich has actual boba as a filling.
What makes these three Toasties extra special is the bread they use. Happy Lemon uses tasty bread from Eric Kayser, a famous French boulangerie named after the famous French baker and food writer.Â
