What Is Going On With Honestbee?
We miss you, Honestbee!
If you haven’t checked the Honestbee app on your phone or the official website, you should know that Honestbee’s online food and grocery delivery services are currently unavailable. The system has been down since April 20, 2019, Saturday.
Honestbee Philippines posted this announcement on their Facebook page, “We apologize for the sudden cancellation of your order as our operations are temporarily unavailable. We know this is a terrible inconvenience for you. We seek your understanding and we look forward to serving you again soon. All credit/debit card payments will be refunded.”
Although the reason for the temporary pause in operations remains unclear, Catherine Avelino, Honestbee Philippine’s Communications Director, shared their official statement: “Our operations in the Philippines will be temporarily unavailable while our HeadQuarters works towards bringing the total business to a healthy and sustainable level. We thank all our customers, partners, rider and shopper bees for their support. If possible, please use our hashtag #BEEMISSYOU”
Speculations of Honestbee Philippines closing down are not confirmed. We are hopeful that this is just a short hiatus—so we can go back to the convenience of ordering take-out and groceries online through Honestbee!
