Remember the time when news of the iconic Reno Liver Spread went viral because the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned the public not to purchase nor consume the product? Well, it seems like there's another canned good encountering the same fate: Hormel Chili with Beans.
The FDA has posted a public health warning to the public not to buy nor eat Hormel Chili with Beans. This is because the FDA has verified after post-marketing surveillance that the Hormel Chili with Beans is not a registered product and has not issued Certificates of Product Registration.
If you see any establishment selling unregistered food products (such as the Hormel Chili with Beans), you can report it to eReport: FDA's online reporting facility.
