Chef JP Anglo Shows Off the Best Beach Eats in the Philippines

"Hungry with Chef JP" airs this Saturday, May 20.

Chef JP Anglo is the only guy you could really trust to give you an insider’s look into the special cuisine that thrives in the surf towns of the Philippines.

His new documentary series, called Hungry with Chef JP, combines his love for cooking, travel, and surfing into one show.

"Surfing and food have always been my life, ever since I grew up—so [this show] makes everything come full circle," says chef JP Anglo.

Join Chef JP in the new 6-episode series as he explores the island life and culture that surrounds the beach and surf communities of the Philippines and cooks with the locals using ingredients from the area—you’ll see lots of seafood favorites in the show: kinilaw, grilled maya-maya, lapu-lapu with chili-garlic, and fried danggit.

The first episode of Hungry with Chef JP airs this Saturday at 7:30pm on CNN Philippines Free TV Channel 9, with a simultaneous livestream on cnnphilippines.com/video.
