Taste-travel to Japan via Ichiba Japanese Market in Resorts World Manila

If you’re hankering for a taste of Japan, make Ichiba Japanese Market in Newport Mall, Resorts World your next food destination. The first Japanese seafood market-inspired dining concept in Manila, Ichiba puts together everything you will love about the markets in Japan—from the fresh seafood in Tokyo’s Tsukiji, the diverse seafood options from Kyushu, tasty crabs from Hokkaido, to the selection of grilled fish and shellfish at Osaka’s Kuromon market.
According to owner Brian Tiu, they have 600 kilos of fresh seafood flown in from Japan on any given day. Diners can take their pick from seafood displayed in large aquariums and have it cooked in a variety of ways: you can let your cravings dictate what’s on your plate.
Ten different food stations also let you sample everything from gyoza, ramen, sushi, and freshly-grilled yakitori. An Asahi bar also lets you pair pints of crisp Japanese beer to go along with your choice of Ichiba eats.
“We’re bringing the Japanese street food experience plus a sophisticated take on the paluto concept to introduce people to Japanese food,” added Tiu.
