Have you ever heard of ispabok? It's a Bataan specialty dish and it's a noodle dish that mixes spaghetti with pancit palabok. It's a unique dish that fortunately, you don't have to travel too far to taste!

The ispabok of Cafe Bueno, a family-run mom and pop cafe in Taytay, Rizal that has strived to remain open during the quarantine, is a family recipe with a few tweaks and changes. What makes this combination of spaghetti and pancit palabok an interesting dish is really the unlikely food pairing. Spaghetti noodles are doused in the cafe's secret palabok sauce and served loaded with meat, vegetables, and of course, crushed chicharon on top

Simply, it's a combination of everything you love about your meaty spaghetti and the umami-loaded pancit palabok and all the toppings that come with it. What's not to like about that?

One serving of ispabok is only P95, but if you want to share, order a bilao (starts at P430) or the party tray (P1,380) that has the ispabok but also some lumpiang shanghai, pork tonkatsu, and pork barbeque. If that's not party food, we 're not sure what's missing!
