Whatever Happened To Jollibee’s Big Burger Steak?
If you haven't tried Jollibee's Big Burger Steak, this filling meal is made with the fast food chain's thick 100% Pure Beef Patty whch rests on top of a bed of French fries, drenched in delicious mushroom gravy, and then topped with mushroom slices and crunchy garlic bits. It's served with rice and a sunny side up egg, too.Â
A recent post on Twitter went viral, demanding that Jollibee return the popular Big Burger Steak back on the menu. People have tweeted in response, sharing the same sentiment and an intense yearning for this Jollibee item, even if it was pricier than most Jollibee meals. It was sulit and nakakabusog, after all.

But there seems to be confusion if the Big Burger Steak is still available or not, as some claim that it's available upon request. So, let's set the record straight, shall we?
Jollibee's Big Burger Steak is officially a phased-out menu item and won't be offered, even upon request. This decision coincided with the phaseout of the Champ burger that happened earlier this year. Both the Big Burger Steak and Champ burger uses the thicker burger beef patties, which is the main star of each dish.Â
If you miss the Big Burger Steak, the next best thing you can order is the Burger Steak Supreme (P94/solo and P103/value meal). This version still has the bed of Jolly Fries, Burger Steak patty, mushroom slices, gravy, sunny side up egg, and rice-the two notable differences are that this version uses a normal-sized burger patty and the absence of the garlic bits.
We reported last year a list of Jollibee items that are not seen on most in-store menu displays but are actually available upon request-and that included the Burger Steak Supreme, among other items.Â
