Jollibee Now Has Bistek Tagalog on the Menu

Up there with Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti, Jollibee's Burger Steak is one of those items that has become synonymous with the chain. For those times you aren't really in the mood for their signature fried chicken (yes, it happens!), you can count on the no-fail combo of hefty beef patty covered in savory gravy and rice. Sometimes though, Jollibee likes to shake up the classic dishes with a few twists: Remember the Pepper Cream Burger Steak? This time, Jollibee is flashing a bit of Pinoy pride with their newest burger-steak invention, the Bistek Burger Steak (P55), their take on the classic, sweet and tangy Filipino beef dish.
Â
Jollibee's newest burger-steak creation replaces the usual gravy for bistek Tagalog sauce, which salty, a little sweet, and has just the right tang to balance it all out. Aside from the sauce, their beef patty is topped with fried onions for a little extra crunch. This isn't the first time Jollibee had their own take on classic Filipino dishes once upon a time, there was the Adobo Flakes Yum! Burger, which is exactly what it says on the tin (adobo flakes stuffed in between the Yum! burger), and sometimes, the Halo-Halo Sundae comes back on the menu, too. We don't think this will be the last time we see Jollibee offer some fun Filipino dishes.
