Jollibee Targets To Have 50 Branches In Europe Within Five Years
Good news for OFWs in London!
Jollibee is expanding its operations in Europe by targeting a total of 50 Jollibee stores in the next five years. This came after seeing success from Jollibee's existing Europe stores in Rome, Liverpool, and Leicester City.
This 2021, Jollibee is opening a store at Leicester Square, London. This will be followed by seven other store openings, including the first-ever Jollibee stores in Edinburgh in Scotland, Cardiff in Wales, and Madrid in Spain
"The Jollibee Group is dedicated to growing the Jollibee brand in the UK and across Europe. Investing £50 million demonstrates our commitment to become a major player in the European quick-service industry," said Dennis Flores, Jollibee Group Regional Business Head for Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
In the time of pandemic, these UK stores will have contactless kiosks for ordering, pickup, and delivery. By the end of April, they will be launching a mobile application that will let customers order in advance.
Jollibee's existing branches in Europe include the ones from Rome, Liverpool, and Leicester City. According to Business World, 70 percent of the customers in their other UK stores are Filipinos which is why they wanted to add more branches to service more European customers, too.
